The Bossk costume (which was actually recycled from an old Dr. Who costume – bit of sci-fi trivia there) is basically a yellow flight suit with a white chest piece. I tried to honor that by using the white “cloth” torso from a Sir Gideon with some armor pieces that were painted gold. Rather than use the normal white loin piece from Gideon, I went with a piece from a Veriticus figure from Stan Winston’s Blood Wolves. I liked worn and torn look of that piece and it worked well for this brutal character. I also used some other ML pieces to try to get the look I wanted for Bossk, including a neck collar from Silverhorn Sentry, which I painted with red metallics so it would reflect the red collar that Bossk had. I also used some barbarian forearms painted to match the rest of the characters “skin”, and I painted other pieces black, to once again reflect the design of the original costume. The hands are from a Marvel Legends Sauron BAF and the feet are a custom from Marcus Akin (interestingly, those feet were cast from the Star Wars Black Series Bossk, so they are appropriate here).

I considered a few different options for Bossk’s head, including a Bog Goblin and a Marvel Legends Lizard, but in the end I settled on a custom piece from Kevin Delies. This was actually a piece I got during his “Black Friday” sale, so I had to prep it a bit and paint it, but I think it looks great as a Mythic Legions Bossk.
