Recipe

I had previously made a handful of Yuan-Ti Mythic Legions customs, so it was an easy decision to revisit the recipe I used for the leader of those snakemen for my version of Cobra Commander. This recipe starts with a Scaphoid body. The green bones work well for a snake-like character and I like the thin look to his limbs. The skirt piece is from a LOTR Gil-Galad while his hands are from a Marvel Legends Copperhead (open hand) and a MOTU Prahvus (closed hand). His serpent staff is also from a MOTU figure (Unnamed One). His head is from MyActionFigureCustoms.com. I painted that head and its “hood” to match the rest of the figure’s design. I also painted up a second, alternate head to use here as an option so I could have the Commander in both his hooded and helmeted looks, just like the classic GI Joe toy.
