The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Scholar

Ambrrean Crowshead

This custom uses a helmet printed by MAFC and designed by Lee Robinson. I saw lots of people painting this helmet with a “skull-like” look and using the piece on a goblin, so I wanted to find a totally different use for it! I decided to add it to a shadow elf and go for more of a “plague doctor” type feel. In the end, the final design I came up with was actually less of a classic plague doctor and more of a mix of one of those docs and something like the pair of characters from the Brotherhood of the Wolf movie. That is how I imagine this character, as a traveling scholar who exists in the Wastelands of Mythoss, doing what he can to dispel ignorance and superstition and helping those who need his services.

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

Recipe

Besides the helm from MAFC and the shadow elf head, his body is a mix up parts from my bins, but most of that body is covered by the other pieces I laid over him. His torso coverings are from an Arrow Dark Archer figure, his cape is from a LOTR Gondorian Ranger, his skirt is from a LOTR Citidel Guard, his whip and hip pouches are also from LOTR, while his spear is from Articulated Icons and the book in his pouch is from Boss Fight’s 1/18 line. I painted all the parts, including the helmet, to look like brown, worn leather.
