The wonderful custom head on this is from LuvNidleness Customs. This is the first piece I got from this artist and I was super impressed with the quality -from the sculpt, to the paints, to the feel of the flexible material used on this head. An absolute winner in all ways, and it pops right on the ML body with no dremmeling or anything required.

Recipe

Once I had this head in hand, I was inspired to create this new dwarf character and this recipe came together really quickly. The body is from Boarrior with some regular feet added, which I painted to match the body. The lower skirt piece is from a Lord of the Rings Rohirrim Warrior and his pauldrons are from a Shadowrun Draven figure. His 2 belts were the red ones from the Black Knight, which I added some brown paint on to tone them down a bit. Finally, I added some paint to a pair of axes from a Goblin Legion Builder and a Cavern Dwarf shield.

If you are looking for a unique new dwarf head to maybe replace one of the reused dwarf helmet heads in your display, this is a good option. The look is a bit more cartoonish than the ML dwarves, but not so much so that it doesn’t still work fine alongside those other figures!
