I started this fairy custom after binge watching the show “Carnival Row” on Amazon. I loved that show and their depiction of Fae, and it inspired me to create this character for my display.

Recipe

The head on this is a custom sculpture from Seba Dom. I think he initially meant for it to be a female goblin, but I got a mischievous fairy feel when I saw it, so I painted it up and used it here! The body is a mashup of parts from my bins, while the lower skirt is from a LOTR Prologue Elf and the wings are from a Marvel Legends Retro Wasp. I drilled two small holes in her shoulder sockets to insert those wings. Her bow is from a LOTR Legolas and he sword and belt are from a Pirates of the Carribean Will Turner.
