Another Frost Goblin to add to my ranks, this is the Wulf Rider one comes with his 2-headed beast. This figure actually made it's debut at the Four Horsemen's G-Con 2019 online convention where I was lucky enough to be invited to share some of my customs.
You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.
This started with a goblin legion builder. I repainted the head the same blue I have been using for all my Frost Goblins. His helmet was made from a piece from a very old Spawn Series 2 Malebolgia figure. I simply sliced the back of that skull off, removed it's jaw, and added a small amount of sculpting to the back of the skull to form it so it would work as a helm. His lower arms and legs are from a Warcraft Heroes of the Storm Arthas figure. I cut those from the Warcraft figure, drilled some small holes in them to pop the ML pegs in, and ended up adding a bit of glue to keep them attached. It removes a point of articulation, but because he is posed on the wolf, you don't miss that movement at all. His cape is from a Thallyn Frostbow figure, his spear is from an old Lord of the Rings orc. I also removed the elbow armor, which is just glued in place, and glued it to his shoulders to use as pauldrons instead. Finally, I gave the entire figure some drybrushing paint work to add some wear to the piece and I also added some snowy white paint to show his time in the colds of Mythoss.
The wolf this character rides is a piece from Chap Mei. I repainted the saddle to match the gob's armor and I also repainted the entire body. Chap Mei figures are pretty low cost and low detail so I added the paint to his leg wraps, face, and gums and then gave the entire body some of the white paint dry brushing.
