The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

This "tundra orc" custom was a very cool project I got to work on. I generally do not take custom commissions, but I was recently contacted by a fellow Mythic Legions fan who likes my work and who asked if I would consider doing a "blind box custom commission" for him. Basically, he gave me a generous budget to work with and told me to create “anything I wanted”. He said he trusted my artistic vision and thought it would be cool to receive a surprise custom from me. I was intrigued by the idea and I agreed to do it!

Recipe

This custom uses a Kronnaw figure as the base with the head from Emil Wickman that I got on Shapeways. The lower arms and legs, which really add so much to this character, are from a NECA Warcraft Heroes of the Storm Arthas. I love that figure so much from a fodder standpoint! It has provided me with SO many good pieces to use. The lower arms actually plug right into the Mythic upper arms with some heat, and they retain all articulation. For the lower legs, I did have to do a little surgery with an X-acto blade and a drill, but I was able to also make those plug in and retain articulation! His awesome sword is from a very old LOTR Balrog figure by Toy Vault. I gave the entire figure an "icy" paint job and shipped him off to his new home.
