The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Gypsy

Lady Jala Heliotrope

Lady Jala Heliotrope adds a new character class to my Mythic collection - a Gypsy. She is also a key player in a new group of characters for my collection, the traveling band of entertainers and soothsayers I call the Ruma Jhornan (loosely inspired by the Edema Rue from the Kingkiller series of stories).

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

Recipe

The body on this is a mashup of parts from my fodder bins, and I am honestly not 100% sure where everything came from! For the torso, I wanted to use the “tunic” upper torso with a bare midriff to get that belly dancer look for my gypsy. I also wanted her to have a skirt rather than just the tunic loin piece, so this skirt piece is from a Lord of the Rings Eowyn figure. I painted the torso piece to match the existing color of that skirt.

For the rest of the body on this, I dug up some bare arms and upper legs with some lower legs from Gryshaa. Her head is from Raveana with the hood and cape from Azza Spirtbender. The face actually had a small scrape on it that I actually thought worked well as a scar, so that was a happy accident!

To accessorize this character I wanted her to have a bunch of ribbons and bracelets and such. Those all came from a Spawn Domina figure. Her tambourine is from a Muppets Janice and her crossbow is an old Buddy weapon. The final pic here shows Lady Jala with a few other members of her nomadic group of entertainers and soothsayers, the Ruma Jhoran, including my tribute to Dennis Derby and my character, Jack Motley.
