As soon as I saw this head from William Robert Post and Seba Dom from MyActionFigureCustoms, I knew that I wanted to use it as an Imp rather than a goblin. This is part of my series of tributes to monsters from the original 1E Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual.

Recipe

The body on this is a Goblin Legion Builder with a tail from Boarrior, hands from Morgolyth, and upper arms from a female Barbarian. The feet on this are customs from Zombie13 and the head and knife are from William and Seba. The wings are from a Boss Fight Cavern Fairie. I drilled two small holes into the back sockets on the figure so the very small pegs on the wings would plug in. I gave all the “skin” parts a black coat of paint and then a wash of red before adding the final paints to the teeth, horns, gums, and eyes on the head.
