The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Goblin

Leema

Another Frost Goblin to add to my ranks, this one was actually made as a gift for a good friend for his wedding. He has always enjoyed my customs, especially my Frost Gobs, so I figured he'd enjoy getting one made especially for him (which he did!).

Recipe

This is actually a very simple custom that uses a Goblin Legion Builder as its base.  The only other parts he includes are the neck scarf, which is from a Black Series Kylo Ren, and his faulds armor.  Since the Goblin LB includes a smaller waist armor piece with no sides, I wanted this guy to have something different.  I used the faulds from a Skeleton Legion Builder since they are the same color as the Goblin. The fur pieces, which were taken from a Spawn figure, were in my fodder bin. I glued them to the inside of the faulds to create the look you see here.

In terms of paint, I painted both heads using the Vallejo color I have been using for all my Frost Gobs. For the armor, I started by doing some dry brushing with silver metallic to add some wear, and then I followed that with some dry brushing with white to get the snowy effect seen on the final figure. I also used the snowy dry brushing on his weapons and heads.

All in all, a really simple custom to execute, but I love the end result – and so did my friend who received him for a wedding gift!
