The Storm Shadow

This figure is part of a series I did mashing up the worlds of GI Joe/Cobra with Mythic Legions. This is my tribute to Storm Shadow.

Recipe

Snake Eyes was the first figure I created for my Mythic Legions/GI Joe mashup wave, and his counterpart in Storm Shadow was the second. I always thought it was interesting how the “good” guy got to wear all black and the “bad guy” was dressed in white. To recreate that look for this figure, I started with a Gadriel. She comes with the pearl-white armor that I thought would work well for Storm Shadow. Of course, I needed to replace her female torso with a male one, so I used an Elf Ranger torso here. I painted it white and then brushed some Pearl on top of that piece to try to match the limbs from Gadriel. It took some trial and error, but I am pretty happy with the end result! His head is also from an Elf Ranger with the hood painted white. The mask he wears is actually removable and it came with a Fortnite Enforcer figure. His soft goods piece is from a Lord of the Rings Galadriel, cut to fit as a shoulder cape here. His chest belt is from an Articulated Icons figure and his twin swords came with Gadriel as well. Lastly, I wanted him to have a slightly different waist piece than what Gadriel has, so I used one from a Sir Ignatious figure, which worked great since he has the same pearl-white armor as Gadriel.
