The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Twig Blights

Oehq and Fehq

This is a project I worked on for a few months. It started when a customizer named Zombie13 showed some example of the awesome custom pumpkin heads he had sculpted and was selling. Initially, I planned to use the pumpkin head to make a Headless Horseman, but then Zombie13 did exactly that, so I wanted to do something else instead. My next idea was a Scarecrow, which is how the one with the coat started, but eventually I decided to use these as Twig Blights.

These both use the amazing custom heads from Zombie13 that I mentioned above. The one with the coat got uses a body from Ilgarr. The bones on that figure act as a good stand-in for wooden limbs, and the tarnished, weathered armor was exactly what I wanted for this design. The coat is from a WWE Undertaker figure. It had the hood cut off and some paint details added to further weather it. The weapon is from a custom I found online.

The second blight is much more of a custom project. The armor pieces are from a Silverhorn Sentry. They were painted to give them the same tarnished look at that Ilgarr has. The arms are all from a McFarlane Twisted Christmas snowman figure. I drilled a few small holes in the armor to add the extra arms. The feet are from a McFarlane Twisted Christmas Jack Frost. I sliced them off the figure and also sliced up some of the hooves from the Silverhorn. A little blue and some paint and I had the wooden, rooty feet I wanted!
