The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Vampire Queen

Kahkasha

I recently posted an article on the Four Horsemen Studios website about an unproduced prototype figure of the Vampire Queen from their old Gothitropolis property. That figure, which only made it to the 2-up prototype stage, will never be released, but I thought it would be cool to do a spotlight on what could’ve been and show this unreleased figure on the site as a curiosity. Well, after posting that article, I began to look at the figure design and wonder how I could honor it using Mythic Legions parts. This is the end result of that experiment! Check out the 9th pic to see my custom compared to the inspiration and swing by SourceHorsemen.com to the full feature on this prototype!

Recipe

The base figure on this is a Lucretia. I drybrushed the torso purple and the knees gold. I then added some upper legs from a Ravena to get the look similar to the source material. The head is from a Vampire Builder. I painted the eyes and makeup like the prototype and used a ponytail from a Marvel Legends Elsa Bloodstone. It was also painted like the source material and modified to plug into the ML helmet. Her loin armor is from a Stan Winston Realm of the Claw toy and her staff is from a MOTU 200x Evil Lyn.

Looking at the two figures, my custom is obviously not a perfect recreation of the prototype, but that is really not what I was aiming for. I wanted to do a Mythic Legions figure inspired by the unreleased Vampire Queen, and I am super happy with the end result!
