The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

As soon as I saw the sculpt for the orc heads for Mythic Legions, I knew that they would make a great djinn custom! I have heard the 4H state that they consider the Zazhar and Azhar characters to be djinns, but I wanted a more classic-styled genie for my collection. Jj'girra fills that need perfectly for me!

Recipe

This figure started with a Zazhar body. The blue color of that character, and the "tattoos" that were already painted on him, made for a perfect base to begin with. The head was taken from an Urzokk orc figure and painted using Vallejo Sky Blue, which ended up being a near perfect match for the blue on Zazhar's torso! His earrings were from a belt accessory that I found on a Disney "Brave" Queen Elinor doll. I cut a few little circles off that belt and wedged them onto the Djinn's ears to use as his jewelry. The ponytail was a custom cast I found on eBay and painted. I dremeled a hole in the back of the figure's head and glued the ponytail in place for a perfect fit. For me, the ponytail is one of the elements that really completes this custom

For the Djinn's armored hands and lower legs, I used parts from the Golden Knight Legion Builder, with feet from a Sir Valgard. I never cared for the "pure gold" look of the legion builder, but I figured it anyone would have solid golden armor, it would be a genie! His accessories include a pair or orc swords that I thought worked well as schimitars. The final touch was the golden lamp from the Masters of the Universe Prahvus figure - the perfect accessory for my Mythic Legions Djinn.
